Am i missing something?
I have watched the last 2 editions of sportscenter, and in both shows, there is no mention of how the pack and Vikings game on friday is for the NFC north. Stuart Scott said this morning the game was 'big' (obviously) and the Packers could lock up the division with a win. But he said the vikings can secure a playoff spot with a win. Am i missing something?

That's right. Pack win = they win the NFC N. Vikes win they go to the playoffs, but would still need to win at Washington the next week to win the NFC N.

They have too win out to win the North. Here's just one of many reports that say that as well. http://www.sptimes.com/2004/12/20/Sports/Vikings_win_on_bad_sn.shtml

Am i missing something?
i think the winner on friday takes the division, because even if we lose to the skins we still beat the titans and jags and the packers didnt. so if we lose to the skins and the pack beat the bears we still have the tie breaker..........

Vikings win the NFC North with a win on Friday regardless what both teams do the last week. When the Vikings win Friday, the will hold the third tie breaker against Packers (record against common opponents). GO VIKES!!!!

But if that is not the case, who will win the division if the Vikings win on Friday and lost to Washington and Packers lost to the Vikings but win against the Bears?0fc1de3e4ff7ffe42e40bba70cebd90c

When we win on Friday, we give the Pack 2 division losses, the same that we have. We should win the NFC North if we win the game. Best the 2 teams can do is tie if we win the game on Friday.
If the pack wins, there is no other scenario than the Vikes getting a wild card. A loss to the pack would give us 3 division losses and most importantly, we lose to the head to head match up.
We got to win Baby!
Help me out if I am wrong.

Interesting. Every publication is still saying Vikes need to win out.
