Point proven again
The right call made...poor execution by Viking players.
It's not Childress's fault Rice drop a td!
It's not the coach.

Re: Point proven again
Overthrow by Jackson...once again player execution not Childress!
Missed field goals by Longwell early in the season, etc.
not Childress's fault!

Re: Point proven again
Well, most of the players not executing are because of Childress. Some of these guys wouldn't make it on any other team, so by Childress playing/signing them, it is his fault.
Just like if we were the coach, but chose to play Longwell at QB. If he overthrew a WR, you would be saying "It's not the coaches fault, it's the player who didn't execute." When we all really would know that Longwell shouldn't have been the QB in the first place.
Not that I'm using the QB example because I don't think Tarvaris is ok or anything.

Re: Point proven again
I know this isn't the right place to put this post...but did the refs make a HUGE screwup on the placement of the ball after Taylor fumbled!!!!!????? I looked by on my record and Taylor fumbled it at the Chicago 45 or 46...Shiancoe recovered at about the same spot....they then spotted the ball back near the 50!!!!
How could they screw that up!!!??? Anyone else notice that???!!!???8ed0c24a99f7e44be7931aa4afb7bd88

Re: Point proven again
I suppose trying to run the ball on 3 and 13 was execution also, that could not be Chilly's fault. The man has to go!

Come on man... You're defending him for that call against the Bears? I'll agree Williamson dropped an easy one, but him dropping passes doesn't excuse Childress and his play calling.
