Thread: Sharper may be looking at a fine

Re: Sharper may be looking at a fine
It was a good, hard hit.
RW ended up in a very vulnerable position, but it was one that was still going forward gaining yardage so it's the safety's job to stop him from going further.
I don't believe anybody could look at that hit and say it was vicious or that he intended to hurt him by it.
I don't see anything coming from it; period.

Re: Sharper may be looking at a fine
didn't see the game so didn't see the hit.
would be nice to see it first hand before i judge.
but if there was no flag on the play...................how can it be "late"?
vicious? maybe, but that's how safetys are supposed to play.
anything less than %100 could result in a miss tackle against that reciever.
he did what he had to in my eyes.

Then we can vote on it!!!
My opinion:
Roy Williams has already proven to the NFL that he is a p*ssy that can't stay healthy...the hit was probably not even that hard, much less vicious!
It was legit.
The guy was on his way down.
BTW, please elaborate a little better.
You are saying "viscious" deserves a fine?
This is not the CFL.

It was a cheapshot by an exfudge packer!
Of course I only say this because Roy was one of my top Fantasy Football players and he got me only one point this week.I.B.O.T. #213

Re: Sharper may be looking at a fine
A little late? N ah. Avoidable? Maybe. Vicious? Definately not.
The guy was on his way down, and I think Sharper could have avoided hitting him, but why would he? He didn't go helmet to helmet, and he didn't launch himself at him. He was just finishing off the play. If you fined every time someone hit that late in the NFL, there would be dozens of fines every week. He just caught him at a bad angle, and that wasn't any fault of Sharper's.
By the way, does anyone else think this thread title is a little misleading? It makes it sound like a news article or something official, when it's pure conjecture by the author.

If he gets fined, I hope the team chips in on it.
You have to play aggressive.
Not dirty , but aggressive!
I don't think that Sharper is a dirty player! In the P.J.'s, my blend tape plays, bullets are strays
Young bitches is grazed
Each block, is like a maze, full of black rats trapped
Plus the Island is packed

Hopefully next time we play the Lions Roy will go off.
That way we lose, but you at least win in fantasy.
BTW, the exfudge Packer is one of our best players.
