Mavs Vs Heat???

Since I live in DFW and am a die hard Mavs fan...I predict the big German will continue to dominate and I say Mavs in 6! What do you think??

Go Mavs, Go Dirk!

I'm a Mavs fan, but certainly not to the level in which I'm a Vikings fan. It's hard to root for a western conference team when you live in the east, because their games are usually on late. I remember their playoff run in 2003, I watched all of their games. It's still weird to see them without Nash and Finley, but Dirk's the man, and they've got all the role players and a deep bench. Plus, I've already won one lunch on the Mavs for the Suns series, same guy is taking the Heat double or nothing against me in the finals.

Mavs.

Even though the Heat have the better D, they will not be able to match-up good against the Mavs and how quickly they can run the floor. Traditionally, Defense is the key but I feel the mismatch is to great to overcome.

Should be a great series though. I would not mind seeing Wade with a big fat ring on his finger though.

Hard to really root against either team. Should be a much better finals, than Detroit and San Antonio, I can't stand either of those teams. And although defense wins championships, basketball scores are supposed to be in or at least near the 100's. I hate watching basketball that ends with neither team reaching 80.

I'm not much of an NBA fan, I do like to watch the Celtics sometimes....But from what I do know, which is very little, I have a feeling the Mav's have been oh so close to winning the big one over the past few years....This may just be their year.....Heat will give them a run for their money though, that I'm sure of....

I hate the new Celtics.

I used to love watching Bird, The Chief, McHale, Ainge, and Johnson.

Now those guys had a squad and could ball.

I am also a Sixers fan...so you gotta root for the Eastern Conference!

Besides, how could any of the Minnesotans here on the board root for a team from a city that STOLE the NORTH STARS away from them!!!
