Vikings Stuck On Same Old Cycle With Childress

The only thing I agree with on that article is:

"I hate to break it two the fans but public enemy No. 1 in Minnesota, Ted Cottrell (the Vikings former defensive coordinator)".

I'll go out on a limb and say, we will have a top 7 defense next year..

And our offense may start off a bit slow, but my mid season the Offense will be clicking and the D ticking..

Who knows how far we can go into the playoffs next year....

I will be happy just making the playoffs next year! (And I really, really want a home playoff game!)

I agree, our defense will be in the top 10 os so next year, but I also think we will need to spend some time rebuilding over the next couple of years before our team is ready to win the superbowl.

Ned, you are the first person I think to mention next years playoffs in the thousands of post since I don't know when.

Man, with all the negativity that was flowing from all (most) the last week or so with all the BJ and DC talk and such........(sarcasm on).....this is way to positive of a post.......(sarcasm off).

Unfortunately most long-time observers of Minnesota football realized pretty quickly that Childress was just more of the same dressed in a different outfit. You see, the dirty little secret in the NFL is that most coaches are virtually the same, much like the cookie-cutter stadiums that dotted the sports landscape during the Astroturf phenomenon.

This writer must not think that Bud Grant's opinion counts for anything.

Bud seems to me like a "long time observer of Minnesota football."

Bud actually got to spend hours with Childress and liked the guy.

I am partially color blind, so I know what you mean. Red and Green are horrible colors and easily mixed up.

Just t ake a look at the article...Im not taking advice from a guy who writes like a elementary sschool kid.

And plus correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the bucs win a Super Bowl with two components we have now.....Brad Johnson and Tomlin with his schemes....yea what a failure.
