2016 Game 16 Roster - Who Will be Back in '17

    Who's back, who's not???

    Link to the Roster...http://www.vikings.com/team/roster.html
    Link to player contract status...http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/minnesota-vikings/

I have bolded and underlined those I think will be moving on, for whatever reason. Greenway, retires and AP goes elsewhere. I'm on the fence with Brian Robison...team leader, Zim loves him and still contributing.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent
    ----------------------------------------------
As a matter of fact, I do know

  2. Unless they seriously upgrade the OL, I think Willie Beavers will be back. I think we will see a lot of Ham today versus the Bears as they know McKinnon is a situational RB and Asiata will be gone. They need to draft or trade/sign a long term RB.

I think the following guys will for sure be gone

Peterson- no way he is back at 18mil, and has to much pride to take a significant pay cut.

Robison- with the emergence of Hunter, you can't keep him on the bench, and Robison gets to much to be a backup

Munnerlyn- Alexander was drafted to take that spot, so I think they move on.

    Greenway- retirement.

    Wright- released

Ch Johnson- won't be brought back

I think there is a chance Kalil is back. We thought he wasn't that good until we had to watch Clemmings play every week.

  3. I think they will bring Newman back if he wants to play. Maybe not as a starter, but assurance in the event that Waynes struggles. They need to see what Waynes can do as a starter in year 3.

    Sirles I hope is gone.

    I think Clemmings is history.
I also think AP comes back next year for us. I think he takes a pay cut. No team is going to pay him 18 mil at his age and injury history now.

Not sure on AD. I think with his injury history now the past 3 years, the Vikings are gonna want to pay him a lot less than I think he will accept. He had a badly torn ACL, now had the torn meniscus, then misses the last 2 games after his first game back since week 2. The fact that he is getting older, and he is on the wrong side of injuries, this is probably the best time to get the next RB for this team in the fold.

After watching this game, I seriously hope this was the last game for both Clemmings and Sirles. Any time there is a penalty on the offense, it is one of those names called. They can't block to save their lives.

I think Greenway, Ad, Floyd, Asiata, Wright, Ch Johnson, and Line will for sure be gone. And

Newman, Robison, and Ellison as very good possibilities to be gone.

  6. Hopefully they bring back Thielen
