Boy, when it rains it pours, doesn't it? We just wish Hurricane Katrina would stop!

Given the severity of Smith's injury, I think the Vikings should just put him on IR, and hope he can come back 100% in 2017. This is feeling more and more like a lost season. But, I think the Vikings need to remember that it's not important to REACT to the injuries, but instead to RESPOND to them. The best way to respond is to play a clean, mistake-free game at Jacksonville and get the W. Then, repeat that for the rest of the season, playoffs or not.

I think if the Vikings can play "smart" football, they can win at least 3 of their last 4 games, and end up with at least a 9-7 season. Then, they can come back in 2017, healthier and HOPEFULLY with a few new offensive linemen, and make another run at the postseason.

My god. What else possibly could go wrong? Next man up I guess. Let's play!

  4. Does it matter? Why risk him getting hurt even more for nothing? Time to give the young guys some time and get their experience in game action so they don't look lost when they are needed.
