Haven't posted in awhile. Good to be back.
I'm feeling good about this hire. This guy is wasting no time getting to work to assemble his staff and all. Good to see. Turner is an excellent choice for OC (hope he accepts). Not a good HC, but great OC.
All thru this past shitty season, I believed we had the talent to win, but no direction. Players played hard for Frazier till the end, but his staff was inept and incompetent. I know some guys on here liked Priefer, but he may be let go just from the fallout of the Kluwe BS.
I like the names I'm hearing as Z works to put his staff together. One of his choices for DC, Paul Guenther, took same position with Bengals.

and I recall seeing smart comments in recent weeks as to how the NFCN was between the Packers and Bears for the forseeable future... suddenly that is not the case and I can see their coaching staff and players getting a little twitchy about what is coming to Minnesota

Now, I am curious how long and how much is Zimmer's contract?
-
Agreed , I've been looking at some Bengals boards and not one person is upset to see him get a HC job and many surprised it has taken this long to happen, they're genuinely sorry to see him but glad for him.
Some are concerned that some of their FA's may follow him as well.
Some exciting times coming up and will make for an interesting offseasonTime spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

If we improve our Defense we have a real chance in this division.
We all saw how poorly the Bears and Packers where without their QBs.
Half ass Offense and a good D thing could look a lot better next year.Go ahead back up your to close away.

Congrats Coach Zimmer!!!
A fiery competitor at the helm of the Vikes. Our Team just got tougher overnight… I'm stoked about this hire. I expect him to bring a strong set of Coordinators with him.
I have only heard admiration and respect for Zimmer from former players, coaches, colleagues. Sure, people question the fact that he hasn't been a head coach, and, will point out that our lack of a passing game required a "QB guru" or a top shelf OC to be appointed HC. This Team needs a LEADER at the helm…personally, I think they got this right. We shall see, but, I love it.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know
