A lot of folks were clamoring for Josh Robinson to play nickel before the year started because they thought his quickness would be ideal. Not so much it turns out.

IMO, the nickel corner is more instinct and technique than it is athletic. We saw AW flourish in this role for this reason.

Rhodes may be a good nickel, but I don't believe he has any experience to date to validate it. He does have a large body of success playing outside corner which is a premium, so I would be hesitant moving him out of that role.
I'll say it again. I want to draft 2 big corners (6'3) to play outside.
That would naturally move Rhodes inside as both of the guys I want are athletic and move well but are not suited to the slot. Of all the corners on our roster. Rhodes is the best to do so.

  3. Mock's Have Us Taking Carr

    Please no.
I would do everything to get Bortles!
    And that means trading AP.
But his contract precludes it I think.

THe problem with Carr is the problem with Ponder. Pressure. Under duress he regresses to a mess of a Qb. We need someone who is cool under pressure.

We haven't always agreed with each other but anyone who wants to draft a few big, physical CB's automatically moves up a few columns in the old spreadsheet.
