Wonder how pissed Henderson is going to be when he hears about this one...

  3. Let him battle it out with the rookies for the will spot. 3-4 inside linebacker doesn't necessarily translate to 4-3 imo, and I think he might be too light in the loafers to play in that spot anyways.

Bishop confirms Vikings visit, says he’s motivated | ProFootballTalk

The Packers apparently lit a fire under Desmond Bishop with his release. And they may have to put it out twice a year.
Bishop told ESPNWisconsin.com’s Jason Wilde that being released today will serve as motivation, something a former sixth-rounder who worked his way into a starting job never needed.

With the talk of Cole or Bishop playing MLB, perhaps the Henderson plan really isn't going well according to plan.

Most interesting thing on his wiki page.
During the Packers visit to the White House, Bishop was denied entrance by White House officials after he left his I.D. on the team plane.

Desmond Bishop has 'good workout' for Vikings, but no deal yet

    by Tom Pelissero @ 1500ESPN.com
No deal appeared imminent hours after free-agent linebacker Desmond Bishop worked out for Minnesota Vikings officials on Wednesday.

"Good workout, and we'll see," defensive coordinator Alan Williams said after the team's minicamp practice. Bishop, 28, also underwent a physical on Wednesday, two days after the Green Bay Packers released him. He missed last season with a torn hamstring.

According to reports, Bishop was scheduled to visit Kansas City on Thursday and also has drawn interest from Jacksonville.
