  1. Joe Webb should play wide receiver in 2013

Is there any reason why Joe Webb should not be a wide receiver and / or a potential kick returner for the Vikings in 2013?

Because he's NOT THAT GOOD. He was a bad receiver in college, he is not a good open field runner. He's an improviser, he's a good escape artist, but not good enough to be a good WR or RB or KR.

So what your saying is he'd be an improvement over Jenkins & Aromashodu?

The only thing they should look at is converting him to a DB. He can't catch that well and can't run great routes. Guys like that get made into DBs for a reason. Because they are better at reacting and catching the ball is a bonus not a requirement.

  8. I will be surprised if Webb survives next years traing camp cuts. It is ironic how Kaepernick ran for almost 200 yards against Green Bay with the run option and Musgrave stopped calling the run option for the most part after the first drive.
    Good call Bill !

Part of that has to do with Kaep. also having the ability throw a drat 70 yards down the field while Webb was launching scud missiles into the dirt.

Over Aromashadow, yes,Jenkins, no. Burton, yes.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent
