Re: Defense fighting through injuries
Just amazing that teams haven't tried to exploit our banged up secondary. We are right in the middle of the pack for passes against per game.

Re: Defense fighting through injuries
I suspect that a lot of people who haven't realized how weak our secondary is will be in for a BIG wake-up call at Green Bay.
Hate to see Abdullah out with a concussion. Hate to see them rushing him or cook or anybody else in too soon out of desperation. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Re: Defense fighting through injuries
I hope they sack him six times!
They must know even better than us that it will be essential.

I think it's been attempted to be exploited but with little success. We've faced some decent passing attacks overall; specifically Dallas - they have a TON Of talent out there... I don't see any reason to expect GB to light us up if Dallas didn't...
*now watch it happen*

We have faced both the Aints and Cowgirls, both have serious weapons and neither has torched our secondary. The GB OLine is horrible, worse than ours imho, so i expect our DLine to be getting pressure on Rodgers pretty much every snap.

I was floored as I waded through the Defensive stats for the league.
We have a whopping 6 sacks. Wow.
We are nowhere near last year.

Personally, I think Sanford is an upgrade at safety.
Ultra, I was surprised to see the 6 sacks as well. Those were some quiet sacks. Too bad our sack leader only has 1.5 sacks though (Edwards).None

Re: Defense fighting through injuries
Sacks don't tell the whole story. We had some pretty good hits on the quarterback last game......I think I heard six. When you're getting those, the QB is struggling and that has an impact.
Also, when you're getting good hits, the sacks are likely gonna come along soon.
I expect to see an improvement for the Packers game, but I don't see how it can be enough to change the obvious advantage for the Packers. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.
