Why are the Vikings the poster-boy team for ineptitude?

Even though their season is over, your Minnesota Vikings get a little national face time in the current issue of Sports Illustrated.

Or is it face-down time? Both Erin Henderson and (I think) Cullen Loeffler are lying on the Metrodome turf in the cover picture, grasping at air as Philadelphia's DeSean Jackson runs by and heads upfield during the Eagles' playoff win last Sunday.

And that brings us to today's talking point: Have you ever noticed when you're watching NFL highlight films that a disproportionate amount of the time, the team being victimized on defense is ... the Vikings?...

Thanks.
That was a depressing way to start the day

I brought this up on this board some time ago and referenced just about every play in that article.

Sometimes its hard to be a Viking fan.
