This is the year that all of us as Viking fans will remember...

The year when AP rushed for nearly 1800 yards in the NFL after nearly dominating the NCAA and was a Heisman runner-up his freshman year. Jared Allen was traded from Kansas City to the Vikings in a blockbuster deal that had the Twin City's shaking in pass rush relief. The Williams' Wall was only giving up 1.2 yards per rush, and someone other than Troy Williamson was not trying to catch the ball...they are catching the ball.

Here at the end do we stand with 2 games left one against a divisional hopeful, the other against a Giant.
Our Viking's are 9-5 one win from the Division and 1 win, sorry make that two from the NFC's second seed.

But all and all a new concession has arrived. On January 6th, 2009 the states local and vocal leaders meet to begin to decide to give the Vikings their new home of aka Viking Stadium.

Welcome to history! The resurrection of the Purple, the men of the North, the Minnesota Vikings!

Make that 3.2 yards per rush, not 1.2 yards...

I expect he'll be near or beyond 1800 after this game.

If Peterson has one 200+ game (hear me out) in the next two weeks, he could even break 2,000 yards for the season... granted, it will be tough, but this is the time of the season where winners shine.

EDIT: For example... if his next two games are for 240 yards and 179 yards, he'll have exactly 2,000 on the season.

If there's any RB in the NFL that I think can accomplish this task over the next two weeks, it's AP... but, with that said, a "W" is more important than individual stats.
