Vikings' Henderson regrets his wasted season (http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/33546469.html?elr=KArksi8cyaiU9PmP:QiUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aULPQL7PQLanchO7DiU)

The Vikings linebacker was ready to enjoy a banner year before being injured in Week 4, and he admits it has been tough to sit and watch.

This wasn't how E.J. Henderson envisioned things working out this season.

Coming off an outstanding 2007 season, the middle linebacker was elected the Vikings' defensive captain by his teammates, and many expected him to make a bid for a Pro Bowl spot. Instead, Henderson finds his days ending just as his teammates are getting set for practice.

Wasted? Injuries happen, he should not feel like it was wasted

I wish the very best for EJ.
I know he will come back next year just as good if not better than this year.
I understand how it feels to be part of an organization but not able to participate fully.
It's easy to fall into a pity pot and get real discouraged, I think EJ is handeling it well.
It helps having his little brother there.

More room for Greenway to make the probowl...

No really though, EJ was beasting so hard before he got hurt. I really hope he can come back next year and go back into that beast mode he had going for him

"Henderson said. "I dislocated my toes. ... They had to put them back in. When I went back out, we figured it was better just to get off of it.""

Hes a pretty tough guy to get back in there after that injury.

It's probably not worth reading into very much, but I really don't like this attitude on the situation.
You got to make the best of the situation and have no regrets.
Regrets will limit you moving forward.

Very tough.
Walking with dislocated toes must suck and i cant imagine how it would be running on them.
Hell he even recovered the fumble before halftime.

E.J.
is a warrior.

I hope Erin turns out like his older brother.

Nobody can keep a warrior like EJ Henderson down for long.
