Hope he can afford it. Maybe we should start a fundraiser.

I thought that flag was BS, he was blocked into the pile. No one attempts to join a dogpile ass first, even JA.

I agree with the fine though

He wasn't pushed onto the pile

They fine for it because if you land on someones spine right it can seriously hurt them

This is only further proof that these NFL fines are getting ridiculous.

Allen, after late-hit fine, complains NFL's too strict (http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/33421739.html?elr=KArksi8cyaiU9PmP:QiUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aULPQL7PQLanchO7DiU)

League crackdowns on questionable hits, on-field celebrations and emotional outbursts have gone too far, the Vikings defensive end says.

Vikings defensive end Jared Allen said he wasn’t aware that he had been fined $5,000 by the league for his unnecessariy roughness penalty against the Chicago Bears after jumping on a pile of players at the end of a run....

These fines are getting a little out of control.

Allen mentioned specifically the league's $45,000 fine to the Giants' Plaxico Burress for verbally abusing an official and tossing a ball into the stands.

If MLB handed out fines for this, Billy Martin, Earl Weaver and Lou Piniella would have been fined in the millions.

Breaking News. All physical conduct has been banned from the NFL. They will continue to play with flags that you pull from ones waistband to mark the end of the play. Way to go Roger, you are turning football into soccer. There is a reason that this is the only country where it isn't popular :)
