When the Vikings schedule was released in April like many Viking fans everywhere I went over it and tryed to determine what games the Vikings would win.
Some of the games I penciled in.
They could go either way.
But, the December games at Arizona, and home against the Falcons, I inked those wins.
Not so fast my friends the Cardinals are 4-2 after defeating the Dallas Cowboys at home.
Anytime the Cowboys lose is a great day.
It was great to see them defeated by Arizona.
See how much success a team can have after getting rid of Denny Green.
The Falcons are another story.
They also sit at 4-2 after defeating the Bears at home.
Same story as the Cowboys, anytime the Bears lose, it is also a great day.
I know the season is still young, but any NFL fan has to be impressed with the turnaround the Falcons have made.
We all know the Michael Vick story.
I don't need to get into it.
Matt Ryan looks impressive.
Too bad he is not wearing a purple jersey.
Anyway, as poorly as the Vikings are playing right now I have to believe that they would be lucky to win either of those games.
The last game of December is the Giants at home.
They are only 4-0, and the defending super bowl champs.
Yes, my confidence in this Viking team is fading every week.
The games are almost unwatchable anymore.
Some of the best highlights of the games are the shots of Childress on the sidelines.
He looks clueless.

I think many of the fans feel let down by the team and the way they performed. It is probably worse here due to the fact that there were a few people who did a great sales job on breaking down the Childress vision and how every player brought in fit the scheme and how all of the pieces were coming together along with assuming that all of the current players on the roster would become solid players at their position, much of which has not and probably won't happen.

I have the impression that there isn't a win mentality on the team. It's weird but is reality this shouldn't have been a close of a game ( when you look at the stats )

I thought that watching the first few offensive series... the offense looked flat and as if they really weren't ready for the game. Not the way to start any game, even against the Lions
