I'm kinda glad I wasn't at the game.
Those people booing would've pissed me off, and I probably would've found them and 'chatted' with 'em.

As mentioned above, I "won" a contest at the KFAN booth on the Plaza before the game called "So you think you're better than PA?"
Basically, I went over there on my way to the tailgate, did a play-by-play call of AD running over Al Harris, left my info and then went to the tailgate.
Great party at the tailgate, including a bachelorette party right next to us.
Good stuff.
About 11am, they called my cell and I thought they were telling me to come back to the KFAN booth to do the call again in the finals.
But when I got there, this hot little blondie told me that I'd already won and asked if I had a friend with me.

We went back to the tailgate, I grabbed Mars, asked Webby to put my cooler in his car (thanks, E!) and then we headed into the Dome.
We had field passes, which meant we were down on the turf during pre-game warmups and then sat in one of the corners for the 1st quarter until they brought us down to the other side (we walked right behind the Vikings bench - very, very cool) where I did the play-call thing.

What a cool experience - I'm glad that VQ took that video!
Thank you!!!!
I was just hoping to measure up to the standard that GG put on at the first pre-game when he did it.

PPO is representing - 2 out of the 4 play-by-plays have been PPOers!
Who will be next?

Here are some pics I took with my phone on the field....

We got down there at about 11:15 and were able to "roam" the sideline until 11:30.
We stayed in the corner end zone seating area (which is a lousy place to watch the game) until they came to get us during the 2nd TV-timeout.

After I did the call, we were about ready to leave, but stopped to watch the Vikings make a big 3rd-down defensive stand.
What was very cool about that was that Robert Griffith was ALSO leaving the field at that moment, but he ALSO stopped (telling his very pretty lady to wait) to turn around and watch the big defensive play.
It was clear that the passion was still with him, even in retirement.

Sounds like quite an experience. What did you win besides the great opportunity to be down on the field? Also this may be a stupid question but was the noise louder down on the field than up in the stands?
