Vikings | Quarterback change could be coming

Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress has not ruled out changing quarterbacks ahead of the team's Week 3 game. "I'm always looking at what's giving us the best opportunity to win," Childress said. "If it's Tarvaris, it's Tarvaris. If it's Gus Frerotte, it's Gus Frerotte. J.D. Booty, it's J.D. Booty. I know I was asked a question yesterday, is that the guy who's going to be the quarterback at the end of the week? That's something that is ongoing." The team has found the end zone just twice in two weeks with QB Tarvaris Jackson as the starter.

Minnesota Vikings WR Sidney Rice (knee) said he has been diagnosed with a sprained PCL in his right knee. He said he is getting treatment twice a day and hopes to play Week 3.

I still contend that our inuries at the WR position and at the DL position had more to do with the loss (WR's not getting open and DL rotation caused exhaustion) than anything else.

How does rotation cause exhaustion? All that running on and off the field winds the players?

Seriously though, our DL failed when we needed them. It sure wasn't because of talent IMHO but rather they just wore down and that shouldn't happen even in our scheme especially when the O is controlling the TOP

Does any one think that Erin Henderson could line up at DE every now and then to give depth?
Maybe we don't need depth there?
I feel JA needs to step up and produce.
The DL needs to step up and produce.
Too much talent on that Line to not have more sacks and tackles for loss.
We are still the 24th ranked Passing D.

Not very good.
Where are we for overall and running?

How can you say the DL failed? Griffin and Sharper sucked, or the cover 2 sucked, but not the DL.
