1) How did you choose your screen name?
My initials.

2) RK., could you tell us a little about where you grew up and about your family?
I grew up in Montana in Kalispell.
Most of my family live there and in Babb on the Blackfeet rez.
My great grandfather homesteaded on Lake McDonald in 1892 which later was surrounded by Glacier National Park.
We still have the original cabins and spend a lot of time there.
It is called Kelly's Camp.
3) What type of student where you in High School? Did you play in any sports or where you involved with any school clubs and such?
I was an ok student in High School.
School was easy for me so I didn't work too hard at it to be a B+ student.
I played basket ball, tennis, and wrestling.
4) What did you do after High School?
Went to college at first.
Dropped out for a year or so and was on the road.
It was the 60's.
I was a folk singer and anti war activist at the time.
Went back to college and graduated from Texas Tech in 1972.
5)What was your first job?
Bicycle repairman.
6) When did you decide to be such a dedicated fan of the Minnesota Vikings?
1966 with the arrival of Bud Grant, one of the greatest coaches ever in the NFL.
7) Could you tell us one of your favorite memories that has to do with the Vikings or one of its past or present players, coaches, etc.
There are lots of great memories of winning the NFC and our division only to be disappointed in the end.
I am still waiting for the best memory of all.
Wink
8}How did you come to find PP.O and what attracted you most to the site?
I was posting on another site sponsored by a radio station but was really put off by the way it was managed and the endless name calling.
So began searching for a better forum and found this.
9) What other sports teams do you follow?
None really
10) When you’re not on PPO what could you likely be found doing with your spare time?
Spare time?
Whats that?
Mostly I spend a lot of time these days training in Aikido.
11) Do you say a special prayer before Vikings games?
Nope.
I say a lot of special expletives after a loss however.
Wink
12)Where do you watch away Vikings games?
Mostly at home, sometimes at a friends.
I tend to listen to the radio for most games as I am in CA and we don't get many games here on TV.
If I can find a stream on the net I watch it there.
13)What is your worst fear?
I will die before we win a super bowl.
14) What type of hobbies do you enjoy?
Chess
15) What’s your favorite food?
Quesadilla's
16) Where are some of the places you’ve been, and where are some of your favorites.
The biggest trip I have taken was to China about 3 months after the country opened in the mid 1970's.
It was an awesome trip.
17) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet in your lifetime?
I have never been to a Viking game.
I really need to do that some day.
18)If you could live anywhere where would it be?
Probably back home in Montana.
However I have lived here in Grass Valley since 1973.
I may be moving to New Mexico in the not too distant future however.
A little place called Abiquiu where Sara's folks live on 100 acres of beautiful country.
They would like us to come out there and share it with them.
19) Do you believe the Vikings will have their big day someday? When they do win the Super Bowl, what will be the first thing you think you will do?
Of course they will win it all some day.
I may actually say a prayer then. Grin
"Thanks big guy for giving me this gift before I died"
Grin
20) Up to this date, what is one of your favorite PPO memories?
Probably webby asking me if I would be a mod on this the greatest of all Viking sites.
