PP.O name: kevoncox
Real name: Quado
Age: 25
Current City: Reston
Hometown: Brooklyn
Occupation: Unemployed – Just got laid off >: (

1) How did you choose your screen name?
Middle and last name, I’m too old to remember fancy user names.

2) Kevoncox, could you tell us a little about where you grew up and about your family?
I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago and came to the States when I was 9. I lived in New York City (Brooklyn) and went to some of the tops schools in the city. I moved to Virginia my senior year of High School and went on to College at Hampton University. I have 3 siblings but I’m the oldest. No kids and no significant other.

3) What type of student where you in High School? Did you play in any sports or where you involved with any school clubs and such?
I was a great student and I loved learning. I went to Brooklyn Technical High School and had a lot of scholarship to prestigious Boarding School but my mother could not afford to send me. I was a co-captain for my high school football team. My nickname was Q- Moss because of my jumping and deep play skills. I played WR, FS, K, P. I had several scholarship offers from the typical northern football programs (UCONN, and U of B)

4) What did you do after High School?
College! I was a walk on for HU after I didn’t play my senior year of High School football ( long story) I broke my ankle Freshman year and that was the end of my football career.

5)What was your first job?
I worked in a call center during high school selling pre- paid calling cards.

6) When did you decide to be such a dedicated fan of the Minnesota Vikings?
I grew up idolizing Qbs and I tracked the teams with Black Qbs. Hopefully this doesn’t come off as racist but as a kid you look for a hero that looks a little something like you.
I followed Moon as his game as a bit more traditional than Randall and when he moved to the Vikes, I started to follow the team. I dropped all of my other teams once I saw the Vikes play.

7) Could you tell us one of your favorite memories that has to do with the Vikings or one of its past or present players, coaches, etc.
Randy mooning Green bay. It was his last TD with the Vikes and he stuck it the Packs in the playoffs and a their home field. Gotta love it.

8}How did you come to find PP.O and what attracted you most to the site?
I was looking for a forum to talk about Vikings ball. I joined around the 3rd week of last season. I liked that the site was active and opinionated.

9) What other sports teams do you follow?
Lakers, K- State

10) When you’re not on PPO what could you likely be found doing with your spare time?
Reading, videogames, and work.

11) Do you say a special prayer before Vikings games?
Lord, please let us win and
let TJack look like a pro QB.

12)Where do you watch Vikings games?
I’m in Virginia, I mostly go to a bar or I’m forced to track it on the internet.

13)What is your worst fear?
That I become a failure. I have dedicated my life to chasing success

14) What type of hobbies do you enjoy?
Sports, Weight lifting, Reading, surfing the web and music

15) What’s your favorite food?
Roti. It’s a Trinidadian/ Indian delicacy. It’s served in a wrap and consist of curry meat chick peas, potatoes. Trust me it’s sex in your mouth.

16) Where are some of the places you’ve been, and where are some of your favorites.
Trinidad of course. Miami, ATL, VA beach, Boston, LA, Toronto. My favorite place is probably still NY. I love NY.

17) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet in your lifetime?
Have a son. It’s not my time yet but I can’t wait to raise a boy into man. Besides, my gene pool is filled with NFL caliber water. My son will be an NFL player with the brains.

18)If you could live anywhere where would it be?
Miami FL, have you see the women and the beaches?

19) Do you believe the Vikings will have their big day someday? When they do win the Super Bowl, what will be the first thing you think you will do?
Call all of my friends and scream “ You don’t know who the f**k we are”
It’s a long story but we all do say it during a game of Madden or when out teams win the Superbowl.

20) Up to this date, what is one of your favorite PPO memories?
Getting Green dotted. People were gossiping about it and I was getting treated like a leaper. Best of all, the guys that got green-dotted with me and I all bonded.

Hampton huh? A guy from the town next to me goes there and plays football. He got his Rutgers letter of intent rescinded for some legal troubles, but he's one of the fastest people I've ever seen in person. His name's Reggie Dixon.

And where did you live in Brooklyn, my mother's from there.

Understandable, however, remember there are many areas of success.
You don't have to be a millionaire to be very successful dad.
If you are doing something you are passionate about you will be a success.
If you are doing something just to get by you will never be a success.
It's all about attitude.

Getting dotted used to be a badge of honor.
Ever since Cajun earned the dot it has no merit.
