I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, so I will treat this like an honest question.

Yes, we have all seen TJack's jump pass.
No, he does not do it all the time.
He tends to do it under pressure.
When not pressured, he actually has very good mechanics.
There is another thread in which I broke down a highlight video play by play and talked about this.

And this topic has been beaten to death already in a whole bunch of other threads.

I know this has been discussed on the site 100 times.... there's one play in particular, I believe it was against the Cowboys (maybe?) where he literally jumped up... tucked the ball in... then just fell to the ground. Needless to say, I was furious.

I know he has a habit of doing this, and I know people rag on him for being horribly inaccurate, but I think he's just configuring his body to get the ball in some tight places. I know that he has pretty bad fundamentals right now, but I am confident he'll work through those and grow into a pretty damn good QB.

I actually have faith in our QB core for the first time in a long time.

2 points.

1.T-Jack doesn´t jump,
is the ground which descends 1 foot while A.P is running...

2.What makes you have faith in our Qb roster this year ,C Mac D?

Do you really think the combo Booty-Frerotte is much prepared than the combo Holcomb-Bollinger was ?

Maybe he's jumping so he can see over the linemen trying to find his receivers. He's kinda short for a QB
:-\

PS: I also noticed something. So far he has 5 more INTs than TDs.
:P

The jump pass is very overated on this site and others in regards to Tarvaris Jackson's jump passing. One inparticular throw that was a jump pass would be Bobbies 1st TD against Denver a very nice accurate jump pass.

Some guy on KFAN's site posted a thread proving the theory that several other QB's are known to do jump passing. Believe it or not Peyton Manning along with several other top notch QB's were targeted and even pictures were reveiled.

It doesn't bother me that Tarvaris throws a jump pass here and there, the main thing with it is choosing when to do and when not to do it, basically the decision making needs improvement.

Is this one of those "Joke" threads I hear so much about on here?

A lot of good players makes jump-passes. Doug Flutie made a lot of them and maybe that was because of his height. Maybe short QBs make jump passes cause they're afraid their pass will be batted down. I remember one jump-pass by T-Jack in particular where the whole pocket collapses and the guys where right in his face.
T-Jack is not very tall so that could be the reason to his jump-passes, I think.

here's a thought.
tjack makes jump passes,
has no accuracy, throws more picks than touchdowns, and cant decide whether to run or throw because.................................. he sucks. ;)

Isn't that like Elmer Fudd breaking down the strategy for our national defense?
