It doesn't matter what path one takes to reach the playoffs, it only matters that you get to the destination.

vikes can do....

no no...

wasn't refering to anythign you said... just to people who are still thinking the Vikings are some awesome team.

Funny how people ripped on the Packers for "backing" into the playoffs last year... how the tide has turned...

I like our chances against the Seahawks only...we can beat them if we play them again.

Okay we're in...now where's a viking fan that lives in Louisiana...because we need some serious VOODOO to get any further! Get that opponents doll going and let's stick it with pins!!! A good helping of self confidence wouldn't hurt either! Man I can imagine what the line is going to be like against whoever we'll be playing!!

Alright the odds of the pack beating us 3 times is hard to imagine...And we always pull something out of our ass every year...We have yet to do that...

I am glad that someone isn't afraid to say it.

Stallion, Thank You, that is the God's honest truth.

Our team looked dejected and Moss leaves the field early.

The question is not where are we playing but in what direction we are heading??????

I am not going to be happy until we win a game or two. This has been one of the worst seasons that I can remember. When you are good and you suck ass :bootyshake: that is the worst scenario. If you are bad and you suck that is tolerable. Fact is we have underachieved. As a fan, I feel like Charlie Brown, humiliated and disrespected.

I feel much the same.

Emotionally, I was just numb the whole day yesterday. After the opening kickoff return and TD that was soon to follow, I just knew it wasn't going to be a day to get wound up emotionally. I did a couple of times, but most of the time, I felt very subdued. When the loss eventually came, I felt nothing. At the time, both the Rams and Panthers were losing, but it wasn't as if I felt either game's outcome were settled. That was prophetic enough, as the Saints almost blew it when Conwell rolled out of bounds to stop the clock and give the Panthers 35 more seconds on the clock.

At any rate, the O-line stunk yesterday and the defense once again allowed a third-world offense enough first downs and big plays to beat the Vikings. Of course, deep in my heart somewhere, I know the Vikings can offensively compete with any team in the NFL. I know it's tough to beat a team three times in one year, as the Packers will be faced with doing. But yesterday's lackluster loss just took all wind out of my sails. I am probably going to have very little expectation out of the Vikings for this next game (especially with Offord in and Chavous out). I just feel emotionally all used up. I can only hope that the offseason sees more changes on defense to at least give meaning to that old cry..."Wait til next year!"

At any rate, good luck Vikes, but I'm not expecting much except more disappointment.
