A Familiar Face (http://www.vikings.com/NewsArticle_tapehrapidfire030508.aspx)

By Mike Wobschall, vikings.com

With the emergence of Adrian Peterson as one of the league’s elite runners combined with the veteran presence of Chester Taylor, the Vikings found a new weapon in 2007 to attack opposing defenses and score points. And now, a familiar face to Minnesota sports observers has been added to help the cause.....

A family man who goes to church and fishes.
My kindof player.
;D

Seriously though, he does appear to be a good looking player who really fits the scheme.
Of course he probably won't score 15 TD's and everyone will be saying he is to overpaid or some shit like that but I like the signing.

Young
Has 4 years experience in the league.
Should be around for along time.
Can catch the ball out of the backfield if thrown to.
Can run with the ball if he gets it in his hands.

Again, great signing IMHO.

Sounds like character wise they picked a nice replacement for Richardson.
His presence won't be missed quite as much with another solid character fullback.
Richardson had the age, wisdom, and experience though.

The rapid fire interview sure was rapid...not a whole lot of depth there, but interesting none the less.

I really liked Richardson because of his leadership and his role of showing these players of what its like to stay out of trouble throughout your career and help others when not asked to. So I was happy he was here wish him well. Realy sad to see him go. I loved Richardson He always made time for the fans no matter what. Great all around guy. But I like Tapeh also hope he also can keep out of touble like in his college days. He is great player and did great in philly. I like the Signing. Great job Vikes.
