I cant believe packer fans thing their gonna get lucky two years in a row in the DOME. I just dont thinks its gonna happen, heres why:

1) Christmas Eve
2) Loud drunk fans
3) Extra adrinaline from the lambo rip off
4) Moss on national TV
5) Favre sucks in the dome
6) Birk and Winfield back in the line up
7) Players wanting to win for themselves and Tice
8) Division and playoffs on the line

But maybe we should forget that stuff, anything can happen it could be close or an a$$ stomping, if history repeats itself we will win big.

I'll stop short of predicting a winner, although I think Minnesota "should" win as it is a home game for the Vikes, the teams usually split and the Pack already won at Lambeau. Plus, Brett's history at the Dome hasn't been stellar.

Nevertheless, with that said, we are looking at a game between two potent offenses and two impotent defenses. I don't think either team's defense will hold the other team to less than three TDs, so I'm expecting the loser to score at least 24 pts. I frankly think the game will be decided by a FG or less, and the final score will be somewhere in the 31-28 to 37-34 range.

I'm just hoping for a clean game with no bogus calls that favor either side, and hopefully my Vikes will prevail.

It depends on how Al Harris vs. Randy Moss goes.

You don't have to like Al Harris, but he's leading the league in passes defensed - he is playing very good football.

Pep has to make every pass a jump ball or it will be a long day for Moss.

This game will definately be easier to win that the Washington game so I absolutely hope we win...on the other hand...

I think we'd have a better shot at going far into the playoffs as the 5th seed rather than the 3rd seed.

1. We play at Seattle if that's the case...easier game than say Carolina, NO or STL in Minneapolis...
2. as a 3rd seed if we win we'd have to play at ATL...all I got to say is MIKE VICK?? We'd have a better chance playing Philly at PHilly..

Just my opinion

id rather play against vick than the eagles.

Vikes 34 - Pack 31. Favre makes his normal mistakes but this time our suddenly opportunistic defense holds onto a couple of int's - and that's the difference.

Vikings - 27
Packers - 24

Moss 2 TDs 125 yards

I think he leads the league because he gets picked on every game! A better stat is how many balls are completed to the guy he is covering and the number of attempts, plus yardage!

I think anyone calling for a blowout is mistaken. It will be a close game and probably go down to the wire. Vikes haven't blown anyone out in years. I'm not sure what the problem is: Either the coaches aren't capable of coaching a blowout, or the players let up after getting a lead. Probably a little of both.

a should win never works out the way you think it willl...here is my prediction for this game....it will be a very very very close one...maybe even double overtime depending on coaching...both the pack and the vikes have coaches that you can just go what the heck did they just call?? but i think the way the teams are playing right now i would predict this for the score... 38-37 packers...last second field goal or come from behind touch down wins it...but here is the key....pass rush...if hte vikes can have a pass rush they will win....if they dont have one they will loose....even the secondary needs to step up...

VikingsTw

I'm a little surprised you made that prediction after watching your team splater the packers and then watching us give your guys a solid fight.

yes but the thing is the reason why the vikes had close game with the colts was cause of a bad set of tackles and let the vikings back in it on a punt return...that was 8 points....it was a big turn in the viking favor...but the reasoning is this...the colts played the packers in the third game of the season and did not see this version of the colts defense and the vikings did...this is why there is two halfs of a season...but then again the pack scored 31 points against hte colts D..the vikings 20 points against the cotls D...plus you have to look at how the vikings is playin right now not that many games ago....the vikings dont finish games well at all..teh packers do that is why i am leaning more towards a come from behind victory for the pack...and my bad about the double overtime thing but if there was then you guys would know it would happen...lol

cajunvike

Maybe Double OT if we meet them again in the playoffs (where it is allowed)...LOL

scorptile
12-21-2004, 01:01 AM
lol well that is very very very possible....cause all the vikes have to do is what win one more game and their in?? or seattle or st louis looses?? then maybe a first round match up...but depending on who wins this game will depend on home field for that game...if the pack wins then a lambeau game in januaray doesnt look good

The only reason you guys won is because Willie Offord can't tackle, or Edge would have been stuffed.

Hey casper, like the predictions and all but i just dont think we'll limit the pukers to 14 with the way our d plays and how well they puckers o has been playing. THey did fairly decently against a tough jaguars defense.

I just hope we get the win.

Does no-one else predict a mistake-ridden, momentum-swinging game with plenty of turnovers? This is the title game in the ol' black and blue division I don't think it's gonna be the sweetest football we ever saw! The teams will come out fired up and hitting but I think whoever keeps their emotions in check and plays football will have the upper hand. It'll be a low scoring first half.
21-20 Vikes!!!
