View Full Version : Who is going to be the scapegoat this season?

2005: In 2005, it was Culpepper up until the time he was injured. Can't blame him anymore the rest of the season. Then it was Smoot's turn because of
the Carolina game for the rest of 2005.

2006: Exit Culpepper leaving Smoot to be the sole scapegoat for all of 2006, still based on the Carolina game.

2007: Exit Smoot Leaving T-Will to be the Scapegoat.

2008: Exit T-Will. Who will it be this year?

If it goes bad this year, the scapegoat will most likely be TJack

There will be no reason to have a scapegoat this year.

The times they are a changin..... (not fast enough for some though)! Get on the new Vikings bandwagon while there is still room my friends.

I'm a bit under the weather.
Home with feet up, sipping coffee watching Mike and Mike. Feeling funky.

I plan on watching the Vikigns win the Super Bowl, so no scapegoat is needed...

He who is without fumbles should cast the first pass.

The scapegoat is usually our limiting factor.
In other words, who we, as the fans think we need the most improvement out of and the person least likely to improve.
In all likelihood it will be either Tarvaris or Childress...

No - it's from the old gospels, the 1st Letter from Fran to the Mahtomedians.

The scapegoat this year will be Griffen( if he isn't moved to Saftey)
He has all the qualities of a scape goat. People on this bord already blame him.
Teams pick on him and I expect manning and wayne to eat him alive when we play( we still win ofcourse) This year we will win a SB but Griffen willl be the message boards wh*re

Agree. Griffin better step his ugly face up or else he is the perfect scapegoat.

Another one.....Erasmus James. But seriously, I see this EJames having a tremendous year.

Ahh i forgot james...
Not only is he cursed with the 2005 draft class but he will be rushing back from a terrible injury.
When his knee gives out around week 12, there will be blood and roits in the streets.

From the guy who says you shouldn't pick on guys who don't get on the field to prove themselves.

;D

My guess is EJ starts the season on the PUP unless we hear something letting us know he is recovering ahead of schedule from the last surgery.

I'm going to have to agree here. McKinnie basically put himself on a giant golf tee with fans holding the driver. That is, of course, if he plays with the Vikings this season. Any time he gets smoked on that left side, it's going to be, "McKinnie is a fucking bum!"

And I will be happy to lead the way

Don't get me wrong. I want us to let EJ heal. I just know this bord will want his neck.
