I think it's funny in Singer's article, NOT ONE Bears sportswriter picks them to win.

My pick Bears 27 Vikes 17

This one is painfully obvious as to what will/should happen.

The Bears defense is a semblence of its SB run and has gotten worse through attrition since our first meeting with them.
Thier offense (22nd with 19.5 points per game ave) is really nothing more than a poke and a hope when it comes to Hester scoring on a punt/kickoff and with Orton coming in tonight shouldn't get much better as thier passing attack (timing based) should be off.

When he played in 2005 his line wasn't that great even though he did win some games.
51.6 percent completion rate, with an average of 5.1 yards per attempt.
He threw 9 TD's with 13 INT's and had a perpensity to fumble a bit with 12 in 15 games. He only rushed for 44 yards on 24 attempts so he doesn't seem to be to mobile either.

Against the rush they rank 25th (123.2) and rank 26th (231.9) against the pass.
They've given up 8 plays of 40 yards or more (T-6th) and are tied for last with 9 INT's.

As for the Vikes.

We are first in rushing 172.2 yds per game and first against the rush with 70.7.
Our passing attack continues to improve even though we are still tied for 32nd (164.4 yds per game avg) with a eye opening stat of being ranked 4th in INT's (9) thrown.

I look to see the Defense employ some sort of blitz package utilizing not only the LB'rs to confuse Orton, but some Secondary blitz's as well to rattle Orton.
With that said, keep an eye open for a steady mix of the 3-4 and 4-3 with (I know some of you don't like it) our DT/DE's dropping into coverage of the short zones vacated by these blitz packages.
The boars will get into the redzone 3 times but have to settle for 3 FG's.

On Offense I look to see our rushing attack dominate but also anticipate seeing TJ and our passing attack come into play early on in the game to negate any attempt to stack the box against the run. I look to see Rice catch at least one deep ball and one jump ball in the Redzone (for a TD) and Shank/RBs/B-wade getting the brunt of the work as TJ exploits the underneath stuff that a weak cover 2 Defense gives up.

Long story short.........

TJ -
20/25 for 220, 2 TD's, 0 INT's.
AD - 150 Yds, 2 TD's.
CT - 100 Yds, 1 TD.
DL - 3 Sacks
LB's - 2 Sacks
Secondary - 2 INT's.

Vikes 41 Bears 9.

Really the Bears team manned by Neck Beard and you think we'll lost by 10?
Vikings win this one easily.

28-10

The Bears simply don't have the offense to score more than 10-17 points

Hester will get a return for a TD early, giving them some hope, but that will be squashed by a Vikings drive starting at their own 30 ending in a 26 yard AP romp to the endzone.
