Aundrae Allison said he never gave it a second thought.

Standing 3 yards deep in his end zone Sunday, with his team sitting on a 14-10 lead, the Vikings' rookie wide receiver said there was never a chance he was going to take a knee on Jason Hanson's second-quarter kickoff....

Detroit closed to within four points with almost 10 minutes to go in the first half. Then the rookie returned the kickoff for a record-breaking 103 yards.

I honestly think that play right there sparked the landslide for us.Detroit just got a lil momentum from they're TD.We put a dagger right through they're confidence
a couple seconds later with that.

No error. The original title did say 103, but I changed it today to 104 due to the latest ruling.

Andrae is a exciting player and I hope he gets more chances. We don't see many Kickoff returns for touchdowns in Minnesota, so finally getting one gives other teams something else to think about as we push for the playoffs. We need to be able to score in all facets of the game, so maybe this is a look at things to come.
