Vikings Insider: Wilf has put money where his team is (http://www.startribune.com/510/story/1583844.html)

Unlike the previous owner, Zygi Wilf has spent liberally, compiling the NFL's second-highest payroll last year.

A milestone passed almost unnoticed recently at Winter Park. When guard Anthony Herrera agreed to a five-year contract extension, including $5 million in bonuses, the Vikings surpassed the $100 million mark in guaranteed money they have dispersed in the past 21 months....

Good read, i really don't think Wilf is going anywhere as he really is involved with the Vikings and the community.
What i do think is that for all that money that he spend, we shoulda see some succes shouldn't we?

Fuzzy math?
USA Today says the Vikings are actually in the bottom four teams in the league for payroll.

Now he is great because he spends money?

I don't think spending the most money is a good thing.
You need to spend wisely.

It's simple...if the Owner is willing to invest in the product, the product should be bettter, then, the revenue will come.
It's Business 101; this is good, because Wilf "gets it."
Keep in mind folks, his benchmark is the Mara Family, a family that has run the Giants quite succesfully over the years.
I am as thrilled that Wilf is our owner now as I was when it started.
However, the fine people of Minnesota will need to "buck up" in order to bring the deserved noteriety to the Team...in other words, spend the extra cake, give the vote, when needed.

I agree.... Minnesota will have to spend a little also if they want a team.
Nothing is for free.
