Check out this website, http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/preview/NFL_20041205_MIN@CHI

Although the lower half of the page shows a more accurate view of the standings, nowhere on the site does it say the Vikes are in second place.

SKOL for the 1st place(T) Vikings!

Why does it say an 8-0 start with a 1-7 finish? Not that it really matters, but this is NFL.com and they can't get the records right.

I don't see how Tice is 0-3 at Chicago. Tice only coached the last game of the season in 2001 vs. Baltimore, but they are giving Tice credit for Denny Greens week two loss at Soldier Field.

O.K. so the entire article isn't perfect. Focus everyone, 1st place Vikes.

What's up with the NFL? They can't even figure out things that they could easily look up on there own site to find.

What's even more interesting is the preview of the Hack-Eagles game. Again the lower half of the page shows the correct standings but, the graph lists G.B. as 2nd place. Funny now, reality Sunday.

Not that I care a lot about stats but 718 yards passing by Chicago this season..? Sounds like their prevent offense is on serious need of a transmission fix. Investing in a spare part like George might not be the answer to their problems, chances are they'll remain in neutral as we're striving for the division title, sorry cubbies.
