Hey guys

Finally Chester Taylor came out to play today!
Kudos to his 202 yards and 3 TD performance!
I am half joking about it, but still it shows the talent that we have at running back.

if it was an olympic sport he'd bring us the gold thats for sure
:)

i wasn't one bit surprised by CT's performance, he's a very talented back running against a low ranked rush defense, hell of a game on his part.

Maybe this performance will help with the AD withdraw symptoms.
This is a point i was trying to make a few weeks ago...
AD is great and all, but not as much as everyone here was putting on.

How did the great poet William Blake put it...
"One can only fly so high, if he flies with his own wings"

Chester is a good back also, but the line and game play/calling is a big factor.
CT... AD...
it really didn't matter that much in the end, maybe a few more yards, maybe not, and CT walked off the field just fine on his own.

Congrats for a true "TEAM" effort for the line, CT, Shiancoe, and the rest of the crew.

if they did they're morons.
We're lucky to have 2 very talented RB's that could pretty much start for any team they walked on to.
And a very solid back up in Mewelde Moore, what the hell was up with all the Tahi we saw?
Are they trying to build him into a Moe Williams type player?
???

LOL,
Tahi seems to be more Leroy Hoard, then
Moe Williams

He is Brother Chester, an apostle in the Church of the Purple Jesus.

Is officially:

Chester The Baptist.
Sticking with the whole religious theme.

Sorry about the post mod. Thanks for fixing it.
We need a poll.

Chester the baptist is my favorite.

Eventually he is gonna have to handle the ball, especially since (assumption(s) on my part) Memo is gone at the end of the year and CT or AD will probably get dinged at some point.

Would you rather have him get reps this year or next year?

My take on it is,
the staff is trying to get him reps this year much like they are will all the youngsters to allevaite some additional growing pains next year.

I have never doubted his ability to be an effective running back. I do wonder if he is going to be happy here in the long term playing second fiddle with 60 yards per game when he could be "The Man" on a team where he could average 100+.
I will enjoy him as long as he is here.

I like Chester the baptist.... He came before to spread the good news. and he deserves to be a little more than an apostle imho.
