Although this season is most likely over for the vikes there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. RB Micheal Bennett has shown shades of greatness, he is now becoming known as the fastest player in the league, with his former track background (Robert Smith), his style of running gains a great deal of yardage without taking too much punishment, ingredients for a great career. Center Matt Birk has shown himself to be one of the NFL's elite lineman. Defensive tackle Chris Hovan shows a real tenacity on defense and a non-stop motor with great strength (John Randle). Although it's still early Bryant Mckinnie should develop to be an elite tackle in the nfl, coaches have already spoken of being very impressed. Obviously Randy Moss will be here for years to come. We will most likely have a good QB either way it ends up going, if Culpepper can return to pro bowl form then great if not Bouman seems to be a quality replacement and seems to be a much better leader than culpepper. And the way this years going we're gonna have some high draft picks next year, so maybe playoffs in 2003 or 2004. Superbowl contender in 2004 or 2005 ?
