Your view of us Seattle fans as the worst there is was pretty interesting (amusing) considering I was just looking at the views form the ezboard Vikings forum. Those fans who went to the game were generally impressed at how well they were treated by Hawk fans. One said he will remember how he was treated when he goes to the dome and sees an enemy uniform in the crowd. Another said his group was considering coming back (maybe not when Minn. is playing) because he liked it so much. They make your view sound kinda whiny.
And as far as the Moss thing, you need to realize there was no opposing field he could have played last Sunday without hearing it. Then you would have said the exact same thing about those fans. Sorry but the only people who seem to like Moss anymore are Vikings fans and I’ve seen some of them lamenting the fact that they can’t get rid of him without taking a huge cap hit. And events of this past week are only icing on the cake. For good or bad, America has proven we will welcome uncouth a$$holes if they have talent to win games. Where everybody really soured on him is when he outright said he plays when he wants to play. By the time he gets to the field on Sunday and ties his shoes that guy has made more than most of us will make in a year. America has the longest work week of any country except possibly Japan. So here’s this guy getting paid more than we can imagine ever having—playing a game for a job—and he has the audacity to say he doesn’t necessarily give 100%. Sorry but that’s something most of can’t relate to and don’t respect.
With that said, good luck, I’ll be pulling for you guys against the Lions. The ezboard fans and the stadium crowd proved that we can root differently and still basically get along without being crybabies.
