This is the kid who broke Jerry Rice's college records.
He catches the darn BAll!!!
Just cut by the Bears...

IMHO he'd be a perfect slot/possession WR for us.

Somebody tell the Chiller...this could be good for the Purple Pride!!

I tried to find a link for ya'all, but it is only showing a small blurb on my Fantasy news site...

I'm sure he'll be the veteran presence that all our coming opposition will fear.

Between Rice, Allison and Nance maybe we allready have enough young prospects.

Hopefully he gets a chance on another team.
I bet he's happy to get as far away from Wrecks Grossman as humanly possible.

I wanted the Vikes to sign this guy as a rookie free agent. I think he might make good practice squad material.

If he is better, you have to upgrade.

I don't know anything about Ball
You have to wonder why the team cut him.
Are they (Bears) trying to get him on the practice squad?

Obviously, he's not a vet.
But, I've just got a gut feeling that he fits the mold...nothing flashy, just get the gol darn job done!!
All those catches mean something to me...HE CAN CATCH.

I think the bears needed RB depth more than WR depth...

Sure we can upgrade, but it's still early to jump down on our own prospects.

However if they like him enough I would think he could be a practice squad prospect

If he ws so good why was he cut by the Bears of all teams. College succes does not equal pro success. How many record breakers in College are now working the drive thru at McDonalds?

We should at least take a look at him ....maybe during the bye week.
We COULD pump him for info on the Bores offense...just like the Jets did to Reche Caldwell...LOL

i think this guy could be a good pickup, let him learn the offense and he could be a good 4th reciever playing in the slot. hes a much better prospect than mike furrey ever was and look whats he's doing.

1. If he's that damn good, why did the Bears cut him?

2. If a player gets cut by a team, I'm sure Childress already knows about it.

Exactly, I love how every player that goes that sucks for a bad team should somehow be a great pick up for us.

interesting guy but It seesm like we have many project receivers or complete stand out. for years this franchise was blessed with Cris Carter and other great recievers now-a-days ist kinda bleek one day I am sure that will change and hopefully soon
