That's the general feel I get too. With the article about MeMo and what not, but I still think he is speaking w/out authority. Plus he hints that the Vikings pass D is good... which it is in some ways, but to say that based on the atlanta game... idunno.

Peterson also needs to show consistency as a receiver out of the backfield after catching just 24 passes in three seasons at the University of Oklahoma. Peterson had only one reception against Atlanta.

I love how he casually left out that the one catch went for a 60 yard td

I just says he is expected to be out this week, but does not say a Vikings official expects CT to be out this week.
If he is out, MeMo better be on the active roster this Sunday!

I think that is exactly what we are looking at.
Why put an 80% Chester out there to get dinged up further?
Activate Moore and tandem him with Peterson.
Both should excel against a Lions swiss cheese defense.

Weddle finished with three tackles, including a fourth-quarter stop of running back Adrian Peterson on a third-down carry that forced another Bears punt. In retrospect, maybe Chicago

Huh?? What a goof.

Memo will suit up if Chester can't go, just how much he'll play I don't know. But we'll be rammin it down the throats of the lions all day.....

OR that he turned what was a poorly thrown screen pass into not only a catch, but one that he was able to set up for a 60-yard TD.
That whole catch-and-run was way more difficult than it seemed to be...AP had to do alot of things to make it work...and someone of lesser talent would have either dropped the ball or gotten tackled.

I think they will play it off trying to keep the lions guessing.

AP can carry the load until CT gets back. He will give the Lions a good serving of AP sauce.
