View Full Version : Morning Roster Moves - Vikes Sign Two LB

08-14-2007, 11:42 AM

The Vikings have added a pair of rookie linebackers.

George Hall of Purdue, who was briefly on the roster this spring, and Cameron Siskowic of Illinois State were signed this morning.

They’ll replace running back Wendell Mathis and linebacker Jason Glenn on the roster. Mathis (back) was put on the waived/injured list, and Glenn (knee) went on injured reserve.

Hall, 6-0 and 240, will be familiar to Gophers fans. He had a pick and eight tackles in leading the Boilermakers to a 27-21 victory over Glen Mason’s charges last season.

Siskowic, 6-2 and 230, was the Gateway Conference defensive player of the year and led his team in tackles the past two seasons. He was signed by the Bengals after this year’s draft, but was waived on Aug. 2.

well it hurts a bit cuz alexander and glenn were gonna probably be big contributers on special teams at the least, so one of these guys probably have a chance.
what do we have no ej, leber, greenway, dontarius, farwell, circui, is that it?
if anything they are here so our starters dont have to take as many reps.
