Just a sidenote...
So what we are seeing in McNabb, assuming he keeps it up, is rare, although we should point out that Michael Vick of the Falcons and Daunte Culpepper of the Vikings also have made dramatic improvements in their completion percentages this season.

and the only mention of Culpepper is that he's also gotten better! This is getting ridiculous! Culpepper is gonna have to win the next 5 SBs before anyone in the media believes in him. Of course I wouldn't mind that.

Its just the eagles and all the media hype, but to tell you the truth i'm glad. Like someone said in the chat room, pepp was a gettting an oral BJ from the announcers. Do we really need the media do that to pepp all week all year long. I was getting embarassed by the announcers.

It is annoying that Mcrab gets all the attention but oh well we all know who the better QB is. As long as he keeps doin what he's doin we will be fine.

Speaking of McCrab, his Big East career QB rushing record got beat this week by the QB from West Virginia, Rasheed Marshall...doubt that he will become a household name, but just the same, it is good to see McCrab lose a record.

Can anyone guess what I am going to say about the media? I will give you all a day to guess what I am going to say about what they think of Minnesota sports. Remind me though if I dont remember. I have been drinking tonight and I don't know if i;ll be able to find or rmemember this thread tomorrow.

Its prolly because mcnabb has been to the playoffs and championchip games many times without a good wideout like owens. When cully reaches the playoffs and goes far he will become a media darling. DOnt worry the media will eventually get to cully with the kind of perfomance hes having this season.

Totally kind of a seperate issue, but ever since Favre won his 3 MVP's, it always seems there is some other quarterback that is "hot" that gets just a little more attention. Warner got it in the late 90's, Gannon, Vick, etc. People forget that Gannon and Favre were neck-and-neck for MVP in 2002 until the Packers fell off the last few games.

I just like to notice all of the quarterbacks have "fallen off" themselves, and Favre just keeps tickin'. Remember when Brad Johnson was the "best quarterback in the NFC Central"?

Ignore the press and enjoy the ride.

I have actually seen Culp getting some more attention now because of his sick numbers. Its good to see him and hear about em on ESPN, but I really hope he stays humble about it and keeps going out there to win. If my impression is right, I think he has matured beyond being big headed and will go out there and win games. Big test today against the Titans - this is pretty much do or die for them and we have to play the same way.

Who cares..accolades mean nothing on this team. Crappy teams worry about that. We need to only focus on winning games. PERIOD.
