I keep reading a lot of bad comments that have been made about Dennis Green. Let's not forget what he was able to do in his time with the Vikings. No, he didn't win a Super Bowl, but on the other hand neither did any other Viking head coach. He is responsible for bringing Randy, Daunte, and Michael in. Everyone else passed on Randy, that pick was all Dennis. Out of all the players drafted over the past 4 years, I think Dennis left one side of the ball in great shape. It carried the Vikings into the playoffs all those years, the Championship game in 1998. And by the way, the defense wasn't very good in "98", the Vikings just built big leads early and the other team had to play from behind. It's a lot easier to play defense when the other team is forced to throw the ball for 3 quarters. I think Denny Green deserves more credit than what he's getting.
