Daunte Culpepper will pass Herschel Walker on the Vikings all time rushing list.

Already holding the highest career QB rating in Vikings history and having the second most 300-yd passing games in team history, Daunte is making his mark as a Viking. Daunte Culpepper has also established himself as one of the best QBs at calling audibles.

With all the injuries and other problems we're having so far, one bright spot has been the performance of our QB, now twice the offensive player of the week. Great job Daunte! :thumbright:

And before it is all over, Daunte will also be the winningest Super Bowl QB in Vikings history!!!!

I have faith that daunte will bring home a super bowl. I have never seen him play this well, hes just so calm even under pressure. Despite all the pressure he has faced against the bears and eagles he has been flawless. Go Daunte!!

Agreed, if we are going to get back to the Super Bowl, it will be with Daunte.

One more positive thing to add, this about the "aging" David Dixon. He had seven knock down blocks in the Bears game, which is very rare for a lineman. According to Tice, Dixon this year has been playing better than he has ever seen before.

Dixon is the man. He is feeling so well that he said "why not" to a question of weather he will sign and play next year.

An article in today's Star Tribune notes that Daunte is now the 4th highest rated passer of all time, trailing Kurt Warner, Steve Young, and Joe Montana.

The article also points out that being a highly rated passer does not necessarily equal being a great QB because so many other factors come into play as far as being a great QB. Also, since the passing game has become so emphasized with the WCO and the short, controlled passing game, the passer rating statistic skews towards making modern day QBs look much better than the standouts from 25-50 years ago.

We could do it in the next two weeks if he has at least 80 yards rushing and has another breakout rushing game against the saints. Wait ill take that back i predict he breaks the record against the titans October 24th.

Hey falcon fan in your sig it sais you predicted 7-9. Man your falcons are impressive this year, 4-0. I wish them luck especially they need to help us out tommorow by beating the lions and of course we have to win for us to be on top of the division. I suppose your suprised and happy the way the season is going for you. Carolina seems to be mediocre, Tampa has no offense and their D isnt the same without Lynch and Sapp. New Orleans might be your biggest competition but back us up all the way next week. Go Vikes!
