Will Moore or Ned get the start? I need to know for fantasy football. I'm thinking of picking up Moore of the waiver wire. Thanks.

williams will probly still start

It is Williams or Moore.

You'll have to see how Williams injury progresses during the week.

In the Monday press conference, it sounded like Tice was favoring Moore because of the calf injury.

Can you afford to pick the wrong guy or is there a lesser back out there that could get you a few points.

Dan Patrick on SC just said Smith is out and MOORE is the Starter. For what it is worth.

on nfl live they said moe williams should be able to run the texans

See, conflicting info, it is a risky FF decision.

I've read in a few places that Moore will start, but Williams will get some carries

I don't have to take him, but I was thinking I would drop one of my backup backs and take a chance.

Would he lose goal line touched to Ned if they were the two that played?

The only other RB worth a thing right now in my league is Amos Zeroue and that's because he had a nice game last week. It was against the Texans to. Keep me posted, you guys follow the Vikes more than I do.

I think they said he would be primarily a 3rd down back but who knows. He could end up getting most of the carries if he's healthy enough.

How about Lee Suggs, he just came back from injury you might want to see if he's taken.

We have 14 teams and drafted 19 rounds so there is nothing really left. I have tried a couple of times to trade for him to no avail.

I'd pick up Moe Williams Even if he doesn't run the majority of the time he is the redzone back he will be punching it in

10-05-2004, 08:38 PM
I wouldn't count on Moe punching it in, they are going to toss it to Moss!!

Yeah, I would stay away from the Vikes RB's for FF. there are just too many question marks. If I were you I would look for somebody like Suggs from Cleveland or even Baltimores Backup as Jamal Lewis will be out for probably six games for a suspension. We all know how they like to run the ball. I believe that Chester Taylor would get most of the snaps for baltimore as the starter, but Musa Smith could get some as well. Either way I like that a little better than using one of our back ups. But I could be wrong, and double M could be the next Walter Payton too. Who knows.

Will Lewis be out this year for 6 games?

10-05-2004, 09:13 PM
Yes, six games is what his suspension is for and I think that it starts either this week or next week.

I honestly dont care if Williams or Moore starts the game, I think Moore is actually a pretty damn good rookie, and Williams as we know can carry a game or two. I just don't want to see Ned as the starter, he hasn't really shown me as much as Williams or Moore have.

10-05-2004, 09:20 PM
And Ned fumbled that ball on the goal line last year in the preseason against I think jacksonville, that still pisses me off!!

I grabbed Moore. I released James Jackson. If he doesn't play I'll find someone else next week. If he does play I'll throw him in the lineup. Keep me posted!

Ned definately wont be the starter, I think Williams and Moore will carry the load by sharing carries. But I'm not convinced Moore is better then Ned but it's all speculation at this point.

Yeah we tend to see it as we lost a running back instead of looking at it as we might find our running back. Moore or Ned could be greatness This will be a positive experience. I really hope that Smith learned his lesson. Him and Bennett could both get shipped out next year. I doubt it but the point is he could have really f'd up by smoking the dope.
