SPREADING THEM OUT (http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/sports/football/15924986.htm)

New England exposed the Vikings' pass defense as vulnerable, but will other teams be able to put up the same numbers?

I definatley think we'll see opposing teams try to spread our defense out, after what happended in the New England game.

But I don't think most of them will be successful, because they don't have a QB like Tom Brady.

It's not easy to set up in a 5 WR set and just pick apart the defense like that, but the Patriots were able to do it, because they have one of the best QB's in the league.

Alex Smith won't be able to do what Brady did, I think we will see the Niners take a more conservative approach.

Their are a few teams left on our schedule that might be able to expose us the way the Patriots did, but to be honest, I'm not that concerned about it.

No...it won't work again...other teams don't have the personnel to do it.

It doesn't take a Tom Brady to pick apart are defense with 5 wide receivers if you give the QB the kind of time Brady had on a lot of his passes.

Brady was quick to release the ball. That is what made him more successful than those that will try & follow suit.

if alex smith trys it, he is going to throw 5 ints.
