7-0: A Bears' victory over the 49ers will make them the third team, along with the Vikings (1973, '75, '98, 2000) and the Packers (1929-31, '62), to start a season 7-0 in four different seasons. The Bears started 7-0 in 1934, '42 and '85.

Yet another reason I hate the Bears so much.Their records from the 1930's,when they played teams like Staten Island and Portsmouth, shouldn't be counted.The NFL is proud of it's history,but come on, let's at least have an asterisk or something.
