Firstoff, what do they expect?
If you look, those are all defensive players with the exception of Marcus Robinson.. Well if one unit of your team is on the field at all times, someone will get hurt..

As for us dropping in total defense rankings.. We go from #1 to #2 against the run, and from #18 to #26 against the pass for a total of #12 in the league.. So we lost 5 spots in total defense in a matter of a game.. Nice to see that BJ can screw up our defensive rankings as well.. >:(

Our offense is 9th in the entire NFL for time of possession. They have no problem keeping the defense off the field they have a problem putting the ball in the endzone.

Wonder what our defense rank would be if the offense could have stayed on the field a bit longer (even though we led in time of possesion) and scored some points.

Kevin Williams will probably play.

Napo may have a hard time but honestly I don't think his loss would be one so great the team could not overcome.

Who cares? The only stats that matter is the Win Loss stats 4-3
You don't get any wins based on rankings.

No one cares.
Comment was made as a dig on our offense.
Without a functioning offense we will have alot more numbers in the L column than the W column.

I don't know, the game could have been different a little, but it sure didn't look like we were going to stop their offense anytime during that game!

This is the main reason I hate losses. For some reason it FEELS like you come out with a LOT more injuries in a game you lose than one you win. Remember the Lions players falling like flies in the first meeting?

I hope Napo and KW will be able to get back soon. Napo finally found a place on this team and KW was starting show his form from before injury last year.

Dislocated wrist will keep Harris out (http://www.startribune.com/blogs/vikings/)
Friday, November 3rd, 2006
by Judd Zulgad

Vikings coach Brad Childress said middle linebacker Napoleon Harris will not play Sunday at San Francisco. Harris suffered a dislocated left wrist in Monday’s loss to New England. Dontarrious Thomas will start in Harris’ place. Childress also said wide receiver Marcus Robinson (lower back) will miss a second consecutive game. The Vikings coach did not put a timetable on the return of either player.

Harris, Robinson not on the field (http://www.startribune.com/blogs/vikings/)
Friday, November 3rd, 2006
by Judd Zulgad

For a third consecutive day, linebacker Napoleon Harris (dislocated wrist) and receiver Marcus Robinson (lower back) did not come out for the start of practice. The media access period ends after special teams work and as the entire roster is taking the field. Everyone else was accounted for as stretching was about to begin.

Harris almost certainly will remain listed as questionable on the injury report for Sunday but the only question now is how many games will he miss? The impressive thing is Harris continued to play hurt on Monday night against New England. If you go back and watch the game, you can see that his wrist is taped up and at times it looks as if his left arm is just hanging there as he tried to make plays with his right arm.

That's pretty harsh.
