Does Mewelde have a chance to put up numbers like Brian Westbrook if he gets the starting job?

Brian is built better, is faster, and stronger, and is very versatile.

But Id like to see Mewelde put up numbers like Brian Did in Childress's west coast system.

He definetly does i thinkk.....
we have one of the best if not THE best o-lines in the game.
he has the chance, now if only he could take away the starting job from chester

I think that it is possible. I know that some people have compared him to Westbrook however I think that he has a ways to go to be a Brian Westbrook.

As a runner Mewelde is better as a receiver Brian is alot better.

I like Mewelde but his durablility has some ???. I think he's got potential that we haven't even seen yet.

That's what I was going to say.. This is kindof a moot point because Chester is our starter and minus an injury I don't think that'll change.

It'll be nice to see MeMo get some decent yardage in 3rd-down situations tho.

I think Chester is not as good as Childress perceives him to be, infact Id Rather have Lee Suggs or Chris Brown.

 I don't understand the reason for the comparison, We don't even have Westbrook.

im comparing because they are both similar backs that played/are going to play in the same system.

I don't really care about this thread, I just noticed your name.

And I hope you don't mean Pat Tillman, and if you do, you better not respond to this cause you're gonna get your fucking(censored) head ripped off.

I say that they let chester stay starter...and let's see what he can do. If he is not developing and playing like he should...they should give memo a chance.

But until chester shows that he isnt right for a starting position and until memo shows the coaches that he can, we will see chester there!

With the addition of Tony Richardson, we should be able to run the ball, a lot more effectivly, not to mention the left side of our offensive line! If he running game is effective, that should open up the passing game, which could lead to our offense being very effective and very consistent!
