Alright lovies... lets spell out for you how this site works! We welcome fans from other teams. Its a good way to view different points from around the league.

However, we don't welcome trolls that can only say how good their mediocre team is and how they will destroy us. Despite that its highly unlikely, it gets really boring. So if you have something to contribute to this site... great if not... why don't you go find some more 15 yo's to congregate with.

gee umm... that would be a good start i guess... just uhh... don't let them lions end their winless road streak against you... cos umm... that would be kinda embarassing.

funny how the schedule makers put make you guys face the lions first ... i guess they want one of you to experience what it's like to start the season undefeated huh?

I totally agree. It's kinda like my Beavers tonight at LSU... I just hope that both the Beavs, and the 'boys don't lose any starters or get beat by 30... but it looks like the latter is possible is both cases.

 Thanks man! Like I've said before, if the 'boys play the Vikes 100 times I'm cheering for the 'boys. But After following the Vikings for over 10 years because of friends on the team, and now working w/ so many of the guys AND living in Eden Prairie, it's hard to not really like the Vikes as well. Hopefully they go 15-1 this year   but I just don't see Dallas beating them lol.

Son, do you realize how pissed Moss is about what happened last year? That means he'll actually be concentrating when he goes for a jump ball against Tillman. Tillman will, as a result, be destroyed.

The Lions, in addition, will destroy you on opening day.

How's Rex Grossman doing? Something like 8-22 in his last two starts? How about your left tackle? How about your return game?

In short, shutting up is probably the most prudent thing you could do.

First of all, everyone knows that tillman, or any DB for that matter, will never do that again. But lets just be in your fantasy land and say he did. You do realize that the vikes are a much much better team than the bears right? The game will be like 33-7, so that fantasy tillman int won't really matter to much will it?

But seriously, that bears offense is looking great! Talk about a bunch of superstars. I like how all of a sudden, thomas jones is gonna be a star RB for the bears. The bears have a good RB, in thomas, and they bring in a RB that hasn't accomplished anything that thomas has in his career, to start for them???? Sounds a little like them bringing in kordell stewart last year and actually thinking that was a great idea. The only thing going for the bears, is they now have a good coach and they have some talent on their D. Unfortunately half of that D talent is injured right now.

I say we win 33-7 against the bears in week 3, but again, I am not living in your fantasy world.

My lovely Bears are going to smoke the lions opening day. I take it you have never watched Grossman play before. He is 2-0 as a starter and has thrown 2 tds and only 1 pick. One of his wins came against your team. When Moss was stripped every Bear fan including I was loving every minute of it. We hate the Vikes second to GB and it's a close second.

I live in chicago , I've been watching the Bears since you were at your mommys teat. Way to be the poster boy for inanity.

And I take it you didn't watch Grossman's preseason.

Please note that Grossman's success was due in large to Marty Booker, whom you traded

LoviesBears -- are you talking about the year the Beats went 13-3 by winning all their games on last second interceptions against lousy teams? Oh yeah, and that unbelievable playoff run you guys had that year, winning... oh wait, you guys got beat 33-19 at Soldier Field your first playoff game after getting home-field advantage. Wow, talk about choking.

When you guys start winning games and get some talent, and maybe finish a season above .500, then come in here and chat. Until then, go back to watching Saturday Night Live skits of "da Bears", the only thing they have done well since 1985.

Wow, talking about your 13-3 team, like in means anything today. That is like us vikes fans bringing up our 15-1 team. WHO CARES. Did you win the super bowl that year? NO. We didn't either, and that is why we never talk about it. Records mean nothing, unless you win the super bowl.

Hey, I can admit that the bears are on the right track to being a better football team. Lovie smith will make this a good football team, but like Tice, it is gonna take him time. It doesn't happen over night. Grossman is young and it is gonna be a few years before he is ready to lead a team to the playoffs. Your WR's are all unproven. I like david terrell alot, probably because I am a huge michigan fan, but he hasn't proven anything yet, except that he has been a bust so far. Offensively you guys will struggle this year. Ogunleye is a good De and I really wanted the vikes to trade for him, when it looked like we had no shot at drafting Udeze. Problem is, you guys have so many injuries in your secondary and young DT's. Urlachar isn't the same, without 2 huge DT's in front of him, which was shown last year.

I will give you guys a chance at being a possible playoff sleeper next season, but this year is a building year, to give some young guys some experience. Be happy with that.

Man tell another joke! I almost wet myself after hearing that one. Have you heard the one about the Priest and the Arab? If you really believe that I commend you for being a fan of your team, but I have to break the news to you. The BEARS SUCK DUDE. They have a very good chance to be the worst team in the league this year. You guys snuk away with a game last year and yes Tillman did bitch slap Moss to do so, but it was nothing compared to the bitch slap that Moss and C-pepp are gonna personally put on every soul in Chicago this year. Estimation- Randy Moss gets 9 catches for 179yds. and 3 TD's, C-pepp is gonna throw for about 400 yds. for 4-5 TD's. Final Score should be about 42-6. ( We'll give you two field goals)

lovie:::

- your offense will do nothing against your former head coaches' D.

- the year you went 13-3, you lost to the pack twice so don't even say you beat them. even we [a far more inferior team than yours according to you] can beat them.

- ogunleye will be a bigger bust than hugh douglas in jacksonville. he won't have the benefit of playing opposite a jason taylor who got double teamed every play.

- i wasn't even born in 1985, and i have a stinking suspicion you weren't either. [you never see me brag about the purple people eaters cos i never even seen them play]

- i don't know who leads all-time series, but who cares? what matters is we will add 2 to the W column this year.

i'm sorry, but honestly, with the talent on your team right now, i see no way how the bears will be able to top 5-6 wins, and that's being generous.

sdvikefan
09-05-2004, 12:57 AM
Listen guys we are forgetting that the Bears have a consistent winning team with one of the greatest coaches of all time.

OH WAIT this is 2004, not the 1940s. The Bears have had 3 winning seasons in the last 10 years which included a fluke playoff run in 2001 and they have had some of the worst starting QBs of all time.

We are talking about a team that was so excited about their one and only Super Bowl run that they made a rap video, forever embarassing themselves and Bears fans everywhere. These are also the same fans who brag about beating the 1985 Patriots with Craig James and Tony "Easy to pick off" Eason as their star players while the Vikings in their Super Bowls play the likes of Len Dawson, Larry Csonka, and Franco Harris. Face it, you played in one of the most miserable excuses for a Super Bowl EVER.

LoviesBears you want to talk about classic looks on somebody's face? As long as we're in the past let's recall the look on Mike Ditka's face on a certain Monday Night Football game November 2, 1992 when the Vikings destroyed the Bears 38-10 on national TV. That was one of my all time favorite games as a Vikes fan, just to see Ditka in shock that the "Roller Dome" Vikings could come into Soldier's Field and crush his beloved Bears. Wasn't Ditka fired at the end of that season? Yes I believe he was.

Now THAT is a good memory.

As for this year the Bears will be lucky to win 6 games. Playoffs? Super Bowl? Why don't you guys first concentrate on actually beating the Packers a couple times this decade. In the mean time you will not beat us this season, Moss will torch your secondary to avenge last year's game and your sorry Bears will finish last in the division.

UkViking
