One of your players really stands out for me as a comeback player of the year canidate.

SS N. Garciaparra

I think he is going to play at a very high level this year, and look like the old Nomar we all remember.......

think so ? I am trading morneau for Renteria so , I have SS insurance. Nomar always gets injured. I hope he is like old nomar and just jumps out of the gate and never looks back. thanks for the reply

pitching looks solid, but rather weak on the offensive side

I am a huge baseball fan and an even bigger fantasy fan. I have to say, you are loaded. If you were in the league I'm in, you would run away with it. Granted there are 15 teams in my league, I still think your team is stacked.

Thank you for your time

You look really good in terms of pitching, offensively- theres a lot of question marks.

I don't like Jason Kendall, the guy has no power and struggled last year. You'd be better off w/ Josh Willingham the catcher from Florida IMO. I love Giles, Sizemore, Berkman and Chavez. Nomar might be nice if he is able to retain that SS eligibilty but if not you gotta pray he stays healthy. Your bench is pretty weak. I think you you should package one or two of your guys together and get one above-average player then pick up a sleeper to fill the new bench vacancy. I know its taboo to criitcize a Twin in a Minnesota forum but Morneau was BAD last year. That being said I think ppl expect a lot out him this year so he might be a nice trade chip. I'd drop Winn like the plague. Try to get a guy flying under the radar like Ian Kinsler (the starting 2b in Texas), Joey Gathright (Tampa CF who'll get you a ton of steals) Mike Jacobs (the yound 1b in Florida who has nice power).

All right man, take it or leave it- good luck!

***just read above that you're trading Morneau for Renteria.....very nice move

Here's my team, its a 28 team 5x5 H2H league. I like my offense, but I think my starting pitching is shaky. I hope Liriano doesn't stay in the pen for too long....

One of the categories is Holds, which explains why I have a lot of relievers who don't get saves.

Thanks for reply, I replaced Nomar with Omar,
I got lucky to snag Vizquel, he was 4-4 5 RBI today,

About your team offensively you have Speed but I am not sure about Belliard and Lane,Gathright. You need to trade for either a better second baseman or trade two OF' for 1 solid Outfielder.
Your pitching needs a lot of help with saves, you are lacking one good saver and another decent saver. try to get verlander for batista

What does anybody else think of MY TEAm ??

No way in heck! He will not be healthy enough for ss, maybe 1st base, but that's about it...plus the Dodgers can't seem to keep anyone healthy...plus I've never really like nomaaaa.

Anways, here's my fantasy team, for the PurplePride league!

I like your pitching but offensively you need to swap uribe with someother SS, Is J. Hardy from Milwaukee available. Get rid of piazza he is batting like a buck 27(.127), also try to get someone more solid at 2b than castilla, is vidro available ?
