WOW! Just got off of Chuck Foreman's website. On his front page there is a compilation of great plays of his from the past. Some of those moves are absolutely unbelievable.

Check it out!

Until then...

Brought back memories. I remember buying a few copies of SI when he was on the cover with my meager earnings as a paperboy for the Mpls Tribune. He was definitely fun to watch.

Man that does bring back a lot of memories! If his knees had not gone bad on him he would have been one of the top 5 back in NFL history.

I know his son Jay signed on with the Giants late last season, I wonder if he is still signed on with them or is he a FA again.

PM Jackyl and ask him...he does PR for both Chuck and Jay Foreman.

He was something to watch. His #44 jersey was the first Viking jersey I ever got when I was 10 yrs old. I still have the jersey and my kids have worn it from time to time when we watch the Vikes play.

Yeah, he was unreal. I wish his career lasted longer tho. Like Gayle Sayers, it was cut short

Great stuff. He was da man. From the one handed "loaf of bread" carrying style, to the punishment he gave defenders to those crazy swivel hips he was a lot of fun to watch. Focus on the belly button boys or you'll be grasping at air with this dude.

Hopefully he'll be inducted into the Vikings Ring of Honor....he deserves to be there!

It was my first Jersey also... My biggest memory of the vikings is Paul Krause for some reason or another.

Chuck will always be one of my hero's! Like the rest of the old codger's here at PPE, I worked on that spin move and when called upon to finally do it in real action, I can honestly say it worked one time for a long TD run and I pulled the move off twice in the process! What we would call a "PRICELESS" moment in time!
