Do you have a favorite Dennyism?

Please post it here for us...we've had some requests and we've decided to build a shrine to the Sheriff. You can only imagine.

My favorite quote is quite possibly his most idiotic. The 1997 Playoff game against the Giants, the Vikes were down most of the game, and were down by 3 scores with 7 or 8 minutes left in regulation. We had the ball with the entire field to march, and in typical Denny Green fashion, the team was staying in bounds, HUDDLING UP, and casually walking to the line. Somehow the Vikings managed to win that day, but it had nothing to do with good coaching. After the game, Denny was asked the reason why his team won that day. His answer..., TIME MANAGEMENT. The arrogant #%&*@ took the credit for it.

I always liked this one: Nobody plays, like we play, when we play.

another favorite: The proof is going to be in the pudding.

My personal favorite is when he was asked what he thought the keys to winning the game were. His response?

"Well the team who wins will be the one who scrores the most points."

BRILLIANT!!! LOL

Ugh...that should be "scores" the most points. LOL

Another classic was when he was on his way out the door, saying that he could be found "on the high road with his hand on the plow".

Webby, it's good that there'll be a shrine set up for Dennyisms. These things are just too dumb to be forgotten. I know there's more too...,
Of course these are just his Viking quotes. I read that he's carrying on the same nonsense in Arizona.

That's the starting lineup," Green said, when asked how firm it was. "You'd have to lose your job now. I would expect every guy that's got that job to keep that job. That's part of being a pro."

This is an AZ dennyism-- my thought--you think?
