Randy Moss is not happy being a raider, The vikings should trade fred smoot and some other headache on the team for randy moss.

That should eat up about 10 mill in cap money. I would love to have randy back but for only 2 to 3 million a year.

I would love to have Moss back in Purple and Gold.

But, I think he will chill out in Cali for a while.

Under the new regime, I don't think he gets back here anytime soon.

If DC has 3 or 4 successful seasons, gets his pull back and would lobby for it and Moss has proven to be a mature team player who plays all the time, it might then happen..... sigh.......

i would love it..considering how we were able to win with ANY qb that stepped out on the field with him, it would be more than amazing to get him back

Moss is gone and he isn't coming back. This is one of the oldest and most boring topics. When he is prepared to retire, he might come back and play cheap for a year or 2... that's it.

Though I miss moss, he isn't coming back. I don't think he will ever be the same player he was 3 years ago, injuries are starting to take a toll. That being said, I still think he is capable of playing at a very high level.

To give some more credit to the Vikings, DC, and the rest of the Offense, he didn't exactly make the Raiders a winner this year. They were last in the AFC West if my memory serves me correct. We will see if it is different this season and if he can stay healthy the entire season to make a solid "WOW" like impact.

I hope he comes out and blows it up next season.

But you listen to him talk, like in the interview which was in one of the DC threads, he just doesn't seem to have that SWAGGER that he had when he was with the Vikes. All WRs have it, it is a cockiness that just spills out. He is maturing, that is part of it but he needs to glow again but I just don't think he is happy and as confident with his team as he was with the Vikes.

PPO Purple History Month History Lesson for the color blind and Newbies:
Man there has been a lot of healing going on around here over the last year. These thread last year would have had to have been shut down because they got to be heated conversation, people going toe to toe. Man this is civil and much more rational.

BTW, the tally at this post is:
8 Yes
0 No

I agree injuries are starting to take their toll.

he returned from his injury too early last year. and it is primarily the raider offensive scheme that is taking its toll, not the injuries. the raiders rely on timing and precise route running, something that is not moss' forte.

Moss is still one of the elite WR's in the game, his last year was a shadow of what his previous numbers have been but i don't believe it's all his fault.

yes the injuries didn't help, the QB didn't have the same arm as previous ones he's used to, the routes have changed, the % of balls he is thrown has changed, and i think we are finally seeing a more mature person.. if this trait continues look for Moss to push for a trade or release.. and i wouldn't be suprised if he did end up here in a year or 2.. (I did predict that withen 5 years of the trade he would be a viking again) depending on this next year will tell.. If the vikings can show growth in the D as well as in the O and show the management is Seriously taking the vikings foward.. he'll be antzing to get back.. Until then though.. he's not a viking and I hope he enjoys his year, except when he plays us.. then i wanna see him drop those undropable pass's!!!

Please tell me that you are related to the Late Great Nostradomus!

Like you said, no pining over Moss, I am happy with how our WR corp is pulling together. We should have a decent unit to throw to again this year. We just have to get them the ball.

Either way would suit me just fine. I like Moss, and hated to see him leave. With that said, we need to address the situation that we have going on now instead of wondering about something that won't happen..

Yes.

But gotta check anyways. We have a lot of people trying to sneak in another account and talk to themselves or cause trouble.

Not saying thats the case here.
