I think the VIKINGS will be 11-5, the LIONS 9-7, BEARS 6-10, Packers 4-12

I'll second that motion :occasion5:

I'd love to be that optimistic, but we started 6-0 last year and look where that got us. We are definitely a better team on paper this year than last, but we'll see. I'll take a 12-4 record any day, most likely that will get us a first week bye and homefield until at least the second round, if not throughout!! GO VIKES!

12-4

Vikings 12-4
Bears 10-6
Packers 9-7
Lions 7-9

Still don't think the Lions will be that good. Lots of offense, no D. Chicago has put together an awesome D and they will also make the playoffs behind Rex Grossman. Green Bay is a sinking ship...it's about damn time.

NO way is Chicago a playoff team with their offense. Their D is solid, but not "awesome"

Vikings 11-5
Packers 9-7 (miss playoffs) :)
Bears 8-8
Lions 7-9

vikings 10-6 with a division title. gonna take a few games for the d to come together. however, the rest of the division will be at or below .500 ball this year, so 10-6 will easily be good enough.

11-5

11-5 at best,
10-6 at worst

We still have a young defense that hasnt played much on this level yet so i cant raise our standards to 14 wins or something like that. we do have a hard schedule kinda.

Defense and special teams need to show me what they really can do on a consistent basis before predicting a 13, 14 win season.

Running game improved signing Thomas Jones and their o-line has shaped up the last couple years too. Defense has a lot more depth...Michael Haynes and Tommie Harris make for an awesome defensive line. The Bears have a pretty good shot at the playoffs.

thomas jones still hasn't shown me anything. :violent3:

Right now he's better than A-Train and behind a solid line he could do pretty well. I'm not saying he's great but he will improve their running game.

sorry sd, i just don't see it. he did nothing in az, and next to nothing in tb. why should it be any different in chicago? i think they should make a strong push of eddie george.

Yeah he was a bust in AZ but he got a lot better with TB especially later on...I think he's in his stride now. George is past his prime, they'd be wasting their money on him. Truth is they should have drafted a RB higher up instead of a WR like they did...they should have gone for Mewelde but we got him now!

Thomas jones is arguably worse than A-train, he certainly isn't that much of an improvement. They O-line is better, their Wrs are still average.

Michael Haynes blows and Tommie harris is unproven. They lost Phillips at DE as well. They might win a game or so more, but I certainly don't expect them to do any better than 3rd in the division.

Yeah well Kenechi Udeze isn't "proven" either but we have high expectations of him...I think Harris will do good in the NFL. Haynes blows? Have you even watched the guy? He's no Kevin Williams and he didn't start but he played every game last year and did pretty good. Keep in mind the Bears line last year didn't do crap...hard for a rookie to shine alone. We'll see how his training camp goes this year.

if jones makes 100 yards this year, you get much dap sd. but i think he's gonna get hurt (AGAIN), or jsut be his usual nobody self. he's one of those guys that get chance after chance because he was a first round pick
